The cuisine of the correspondents: fish in foil from Michou d’Embres-et-Castelmaure

All year round, they provide information on the life of their village. Today, they deliver their favorite recipe.

Micheline Roser (known as Michou) was born in Strasbourg where she completed her primary and secondary education, up to a commercial technical school. When she returned to Crédit Industriel d’Alsace et de Lorraine at the age of 18, she discovered the stock market there. She really enjoyed managing clients’ life savings plans : “ I’m really passionate “. At the same time, she is a CFDT trade union representative and labor court adviser : “ I am invested in defending the rights of employees. It was a lot of work, putting together files, hearings, reports, but it was good “. Made redundant when the bank was taken over, Michou spends a capacity in transport to enter her brother’s company.

On the heart side, she was just 16 when she met Charles at the swimming pool. But he is 18 years old and must do his military service, then travels a lot for his work. They end up finding themselves in the middle of a group of friends that Micheline follows everywhere, and they are still together.

In the village of Alsace where they settled, she worked in a lighting assembly company. She meets people who know Gruissan and talk to him about a house for sale, within his means, at the Lagunes du soleil in Ayguades. Charles and Micheline smoke their retirement at the same time. They settle there, but it’s a holiday residence, a bit cramped to spend the whole life there. They are looking for a bigger one, there or in Leucate, but everything is overpriced. They end up finding a house to their liking in Embres where they put their suitcases 10 years ago.

Michou is a member of the ASLC association (sterilization and freedom of cats) of Gruissan and is one of the friends of Castelmaure, in particular with Dominique and Peter, where she participates in walks, meals and dance evenings. “ I used to do yoga for a while, but I find it’s getting too hard “.

Her musical tastes lead her to film music taken from classics with modern arrangements and her literary tastes to detective novels.

She has a passion for painting, in acrylic or oil, and, more recently, for pouring (abstract art made with a fluid paint deposited on the canvas that we shake to obtain the rendering that we wishes).

Michou is correspondent for The Independent and the Midi Libre for 2 years, at the request of the deputy mayor who is a friend.

She offers a recipe for fish in foil, easy, light and tasty.
