“If you don’t always have time to cook, if you don’t want to deprive yourself of local, quality food at an affordable price… Hop, hop, hop! It’s for you”, launches the association Living well in Romantic Brittany. It has set itself the goal of providing dishes prepared with local produce for €4 per portion per person. To keep this price very affordable, she wants to pre-sell 250 servings of the first cooked coursea vegetable tagine garnished with semolina, olives and homemade candied lemons.

Collaborative aspect

If the operation is a success, as the association hopes, “we will renew it once a month with a seasonal dish from the start of the school year. We have the pots au feu, beef bourguignon, tajine, vegetable tian and other dishes cooked from products from our territory at affordable prices throughout the year”. They could be eaten immediately or frozen.

This initiative is coupled with a collaborative aspect:

“If you are cordon bleu and have ideas for cooked dishes, don’t keep them to yourself. Suggest them for one of our prepared meal operations and share them with everyone. We thus create a real virtuous network of mutual aid and collective collaboration. »

How’s it going ?

“We invest in collective kitchens that municipalities and other partners in the territory make available to organize a cooking workshop there under the leadership of Sylvie and intended for a dozen people who volunteer to participate in this workshop”, details the association. .

“During this workshop, the objective is to prepare 250 individual portions which will have been previously sold on our market portal. »

For the first operation, the municipality of Trévérien made its kitchen available. The workshop will take place on June 23, and the call is launched: “We are looking for 10 volunteers, of all generations, with or without culinary. »

Possible delivery

Anyone can order: families, companies, works councils, local authorities, schools, social centres, sports, cultural or parents’ associations… and other institutions. The principle: “you order, and you come to the various drop-off points of the mobile market to pick up your dish”. From 10 portions, the association “can deliver you wherever you want”.

To order the first operation on June 24 and find out the days and collection points: bvbr.org or by email: [email protected] with the title “prepared dish operation”.
