1]Include multiple stops on your route
Suppose you want to go to location A and location B from home. To get a path on Google Maps, you can do two things. First, you can get the direction of the house at location A. Then activate another direction from location A at location B after reaching location A. The second option is much better because you don’t have to set management more than once. You can add multiple stops to your trip from anywhere and calculate the total distance. Previously, this particular feature was not available on Google Maps. But, now you can. Just set the direction from one place to another. Then you accept a plus sign that defines “Add a recipient.” Click on it and specify another location.

Suppose you have set a long distance on Google Maps. However, you don’t want to take highways, tolls, or ferries. By default, Google Maps displays the distance in kilometers. However, if you want to set it on the mile, you can do that too. All these parameters are grouped under Route options. You can check any of the options mentioned above to avoid or prefer. But first you need to select your destination and get directions. Then you can set them.

4]Share direction with anyone
Suppose someone comes to your hometown and they don’t know a particular place. At such times, you can easily share a direction with your friend. There are no restrictions on sharing, and that means you can share to Facebook, Twitter, Email, WhatsApp, etc. To do this, activate a route to go from one place to another. You will then see a share button on your screen. Just click on it. Now you allow a popup window, where a link will appear. Copy this link and send it to anyone. If you want to get a short link (goo.gl), you can just check the box and allow yourself a short URL.
5]Embed direction/map on any web page
Suppose you have a business and some people want to visit your place, but they don’t know the location. You can share the direction using the guide mentioned above. But you have to do it with each one individually. If you have a website and want to embed direction from a particular location to your business, you can do so on any web page. To do this, select a direction and open the Share menu. Here you see a Embed map button. Choose a size and copy the Iframe code, then paste it into your HTML page. 6]Save the direction on the map in PDF or print it
Suppose you are going to a place where you will not get any mobile network. Then it would be quite difficult for you to use Google Maps on your mobile unless you saved it offline. If you are using the web version of Google Maps and possibly save a direction as a PDF or want to print it out, follow these steps. Select a direction from one place to another. You should get a To print button on your screen. Click on it and select Print, including maps. Then enter a note and press the To print button. You will run a pop-up window to select the printer or save it as PDF.
8]Google Maps Timeline
Google Maps can help you check when and where you’ve been. However, the web version of Google Maps cannot store locations, unlike the mobile version. If you went to a particular location and used Google Maps, that location will be chosen in your Timeline. You will be able to view it using any device after logging into your Google account. To check the timeline, sign in to your Google account, then open Google Maps. Click on the three horizontal lines and select Your calendar. Choose the year, month and date to check your visited places.
If you are working on a project and possibly measuring the distance from one place to another, you can set a direction. But this will not allow you to find the distance in a straight line. However, if you want to measure the distance in a straight line from one place to another, open Google Maps and select a location. Right click on it and select measure distance. Then choose the other location and click on it. You access the distance directly on your screen.
