1. OM return to the Champions League! In a fantastic atmosphere at the Stade Vélodrome, the players of Olympique de Marseille enjoyed a memorable evening. Thanks to their victory against Strasbourg (4-0) and the draw of Monaco Lens (2-2), Jorge Sampaoli’s players finish 2nd place in Ligue 1 and win their direct qualification for the Champions League. 2. Monaco was so close to the goal… Within seconds, Monaco was directly qualified for the Champions League. But the Principality club a conceded draw at the very end of the Lens meeting (2-2) which drops him to 3rd place in the standings. Most titled team in the history of the Women’s Champions League, Olympique Lyonnais added an eighth trophy to their C1 record by dominating FC Barcelona in the final (3-1).
