Social networks: 34% of young people play a character

Generation Z, born in the 2000s, is addicted to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook. But what do they post after they really live? According to a study conducted by Adobe and OnePoll, not quite! The study involved 1,000 young people between the ages of 18 and 25.

They play a character!

The study, which focused on 1,000 young people aged 18 to 25, shows that social networks allow 58% young people to be more comfortable with themselves, and 34% confess play a character on TikTok or any other social network. One wonders why these young adults do not dare to show themselves as they are on social networks. 55% of them admit that it is by lack of self-confidence, 42% by fear of the eyes of others. And they are hardly optimistic about their ability to achieve this, since 20% do not think they will get there before the age of 40!

Does social media have positive effects?

Yes ! All is not black on social networks. 45% of young people believe that social networks help them to be more creative. It’s already that !
