Candidate in the 1st round in the 4th constituency, Sharif Bemat does not wish to support David Lorion for the second round. “I did not get involved in politics to undergo old-fashioned methods, scullery arrangements”, declares this “Walker of the first hour” to whom the nomination was refused.

Walker of the 1st hour and member of the departmental office of LaREM, I assume my convictions with pride.
I have worked with En Marche since 2017, particularly during the presidential and European elections.
Candidate for the legislative elections in the 4th constituency, I naturally requested the nomination of my party which I was refused on the grounds that the outgoing deputy David LORION, member of the party Les Républicains (LR) should have the constituency ” reserved”.
However, I did not enter politics to undergo old-fashioned methods, scullery arrangements.
These are not the values that I defend. On the contrary, I represent a new political class that wants to restore trust with voters and work in the general interest for Reunionese.
Also, I remain faithful to my convictions and I cannot join the outgoing opposition deputy, David LORION, for the 2nd round of the legislative elections: no voting instructions will therefore be given going in this direction.
