Against Manchester City (3-4, 3-1 aet) on Wednesday in the Champions League semi-final second leg, Real Madrid winger Rodrygo (21, 10 appearances and 5 goals in LdC this season), already author of a double, was offered by Karim Benzema the opportunity to take a penalty in order to register a triple (see here). And for the media of the Madrid club, the Brazilian explained his refusal.

“I’m happy for Karim. He asked me if I wanted to take the penalty to score a triple. But I know he’s still training in this drill and he’s the designated shooter. And that was clear , with the season he is doing, I replied: ‘no, you have to shoot him Karim’. He scored and we are in the final”, savored the young talent from the White House.
