Apple TV+ kills two birds with one stone by announcing series release dates Five days at the memorial and bad sisters. Both will arrive during the summer on the streaming platform.
Five days at the memorial, which will consist of eight episodes, will debut worldwide on August 12 on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes, followed by a new weekly episode every Friday until September 16. Based on real events and adapted from the book by journalist Sheri Fink, the series chronicles the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath on a local hospital. When the waters rose, the power failed and the heat soared, exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital had to make decisions that will follow them for years.
For its part, bad sisters will arrive on August 19 with the first two episodes. There will be 10 episodes in total, with a new episode every Friday. The series follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the untimely death of their parents and a promise to always protect each other. According to Apple TV+, it’s a delicious mix of dark comedy and thriller set on the Irish coast that would be breathtaking.
