On June 6, Apple presented the new versions of the software that equip its most popular products, including watchOS 9 for the Apple Watch. During the WWDC 22 keynote, we also learned about the new iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura. This time, the Cupertino company has released the second beta of all firmware, good news for developers who were waiting for bug fixes to make the experience smoother and increase autonomy.
What’s new for beta 2
watchOS 9 is a good vintage with several nice new features such as much more advanced running tracking, 4 new dials, afib history, sleep stage tracking, and even VOIP calls for third-party applications.

In order to install the new beta of watchOS 9, developers can go on their iPhone to:
- The “Watch” app
- Software update
They could download and install the new version, if they installed the provisioning profile on their iPhone from Apple’s Dev Center.
